Double Weave Indigo Blue and White Antique Coverlet

Here we have a double weave indigo blue and white antique coverlet. This coverlet blanket dates to the late 1800s and features a geometric design. During the 19th century, coverlets like this would have gone on the top of beds as people slept to keep them warm in a house without the pleasantries of central heating that we have today. Now, not only are they good blankets, but they also have a wonderful look to use as display pieces. This is a great vintage heirloom.

Condition:

It is in decent vintage condition, given its age. It does show some wear, including some on the edges, a few small rips, and some tiny pin holes here and there. We've tried to include photos of this issue, but if you'd like more or have questions, please let us know.
