Here we have a vintage red and white steel New Mexico State Road Sign with Zia symbol. This sign dates to the late 1940s when the state changed from a small Zia to a larger Zia as seen here. State Road 10 went from Carrizozo, across Route 66, and then on to Santa Fe. State Road 10 was later renumbered to State Road 14 in 1968 to avoid conflict with US Interstate 10.

This vintage highway sign would be perfect for the local history buff or someone hoping to revisit the nostalgia of road trips of the past century. This is a great piece of history that would look great in a modern industrial setting such as a den, bedroom, or restaurant.

Condition:

It is in good original vintage condition, showing some nice character such as a few scuffs and nicks here and there. The white sheeting has faded a bit in the elements to a more tan color.

Size:

Measures about 2 feet tall and 18 inches wide.
