1920 Washington Porcelain License Vintage Auto Collectible

Up for sale is a 1920 Washington full porcelain license plate. This plate features the number 14167 and black on white and yellow coloring. This plate is made of porcelain enamel, which is a thin layer of glass finish over steel. Washington did not make many of these full porcelain versions of 1920 plates because their 1919 plates were made to be used with a porcelain tab for 1920. These full porcelain Washingtons are quite hard to find in good condition.

License plates make great house warming gifts or gifts for someone who was born the year the plates were issued, and they look stellar on a wall in a collection with many different states and colors. It would be a neat gift for someone who lives in Washington, a souvenir to remember a trip to the state, or even as decor to a Washington lover.

Condition:

This plate is in 100% original condition, with no touchups or restoration. It is in wonderful vintage condition, and only shows a little wear and character from use on a vehicle and storage over the years. Most notably, some minor chips to the mounting slots, edges, and left corner. There is also a small chip near the bottom of the "4." It has nice gloss.
