Up for sale is a 1915 Vermont porcelain license plate featuring black on white colors and the relatively low four digit number 9605. This plate is made of porcelain enamel, which is a thin layer of glass finish over steel. It was made by Ing-Rich Mfg. Co. out of Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, the well-known manufacturer of many states' porcelain license plates in the early years of cars.

This plate would be a neat gift for someone who lives in Vermont, souvenir to remember a trip to the state, or even as decor to a Vermont lover. License plates also make great house warming gifts or gifts for someone who was born the year the plates were issued, and they look stellar on a wall in a collection with many different states and colors.

Condition:

This plate is in 100% original condition and has no touchups or restoration. It is in great vintage condition, showing only a little wear, character, and patina from use on a vehicle and storage over the years. Most notably, there is an extra hole above the "5" and some small chips around the mounting holes and slots. This plate has great gloss and would look stellar in a collection.

Size:

Measures about 15.5 inches long and 6 inches wide.
