1908 Ohio Porcelain License Plate Blue First Issue Low Number Four Digit 5120

Up for sale is a 1908 Ohio porcelain license plate featuring white on blue colors and the number 5120. 1908 is the first year the the state of Ohio issued license plates. This plate would be a great plate to add to a license plate collection.

This plate would be a neat gift for someone who lives in Ohio, souvenir to remember a trip to the state, or even as decor to a Ohio lover. License plates also make great house warming gifts or gifts for someone who was born the year the plates were issued, and they look stellar on a wall in a collection with many different states and colors.

Condition:

This plate is in 100% original condition and has no touchups or restoration. It is in great condition with some wear and character from actual use and storage over the years. Most notably, some small hits and chips to the porcelain here and there along the edges (most prominently near the upper left mounting hole). There is also some light scratching near the 0 and OH (see 2nd to last photo). Finally, there is a small manufacturing flaw of some darker waves to the porcelain in a small spot to the right of the 5. Overall, this is a glossy plate that displays quite nicely.
