Here we have a vintage 1913 Pennsylvania (PENNA) porcelain license plate. The plate features the number 14476 and a white on green coloring. This plate is made of porcelain enamel, which is a thin layer of glass finish over steel. It was made by Brilliant Mfg. Co. out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, a well-known manufacturer of many states' porcelain license plates in the early years of cars.

License plates make great house warming gifts or gifts for someone who was born the year the plates were issued, and they look stellar on a wall in a collection with many different states and colors. It would be a neat gift for someone who lives in Pennsylvania, a souvenir to remember a trip to the state, or even as decor to a Pennsylvania lover. 

Condition:

This plate is in 100% original condition, with no paint touchups or restoration. It is in decent vintage condition, considering it is a piece of glass-covered metal that was used on an early vehicle in a time before paved roads. It does show some wear and character from use and storage over the years. Most notably, dings and chipping along the edges, a hole in the badge, and some discoloration between the "7" and "6."
