Here we have a vintage 1906 Pennsylvania (PENNA) porcelain license plate. The plate features the number 13930 and a white on blue coloring. 1906 was the first year that Pennsylvania issued license plates. This plate is made of porcelain enamel, which is a thin layer of glass finish over steel. It was made by Ing-Rich Mfg. Co. out of Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, the well-known manufacturer of many states' porcelain license plates in the early years of cars.

License plates make great house warming gifts or gifts for someone who was born the year the plates were issued, and they look stellar on a wall in a collection with many different states and colors. It would be a neat gift for someone who lives in Pennsylvania, a souvenir to remember a trip to the state, or even as decor to a Pennsylvania lover.

Condition:

This plate is in 100% original condition and has no touchups or restoration. It is in great condition with only a little wear from actual use over the years. Most notably, each of the mounting slots has some chipping from originally being mounted to a vehicle. The plate is quite glossy.

We have many of other license plates, find them here!
